Pinoy Jr. bowlers nag-uwi ng silver at bronze sa Asian Youth

MANILA, Philippines – Nagpagulong ang mga Philippine junior bowlers ng isang silver at isang bronze medal sa 18th Asian Youth Tenpin Bowling Championships sa Complexo Desportivo Internacional do Cotai Bowling Centre sa Macau, China kamakailan.

Nagtala ang 18-anyos na si Enzo Hernandez ng 1480 total pin falls na tinampukan ng isang 300-perfect game sa third game para sikwatin ang silver medal sa boys’ singles competition na nilahukan ng 15 Asian countries sa pangu­nguna ng Singapore, Korea at Malaysia.

“It was a good to roll the first perfect game here in the Asian Youth. That helped win for us, a silver medal,” wika ni Hernandez, miyembro ng Team Prima bowling team.

Si Malaysian Muhd Rafiq Ismail ang kumuha sa gold medal sa boys’ singles event sa kanyang 1615 total pin falls at si Javier Tan ng Singapore ang pumitas sa bronze sa kanyang 1433.

Sina Philippine junior tandem Ivan Malig at Enzo Hernandez ang nagbulsa ng bronze sa boys’ doubles category sa kanilang 2690 total pin falls.

Ang Malaysia (2814) at Singapore (2763) ang umangkin sa gold at silver medal, ayon sa pagkakasunod.
