Global FC sasabak sa AFC Cup

MANILA, Philippines – Ikinatuwa ni Global chief executive Dan Palami ang pagkakasali ng Global FC sa AFC Cup sa susunod na taon.

Ang Global FC ang ka­una-unahang football team sa bansa na maglalaro sa naturang torneo.

“We have managed to make a lot of firsts for Phil­ippine football,” sabi ni Pa­lami. “It is not just being crowned as champions of the Philippines that matters now, but it is also the chance to represent your club in the Asian region.”

Umaasa si Palami na hin­di lamang ang Global FC ang makakapaglaro sa AFC Cup sa mga susunod na taon.

Nanggaling ang Global FC sa paglalaro sa 2013 AFC Presidents Club.

Ayon kay Palami, isang bagong eksperyensa para sa Global FC ang paglalaro sa AFC Cup.

“The Asian level is dif­­ferent. You cannot be com­­placent and be comfor­ta­ble with your domestic achievements,” ani Palami.

“We just have to sche­dule (the games) properly. The key is that the complete squad must be at the level where the quality will not suffer when you rotate the players,” he added.

Magsisimula ang 2015 AFC Cup sa Pebrero 10, 2015 at matatapos sa Oktubre 31.
