Pilipino Star Ngayon

"Only the best and dedicated players will be chosen because we want to form a very competitive team for this tournament," wika ni Vicente sa isinagawang pulong balitaan ngayong Huwebes.

"We're still holding tryouts and we hope to get more players from the UAAP and NCAA," dagdag niya.

Nasa Group A ang Pilipinas kasama ang Iraq, Kuwait at Mongolia, habang nasa group B ang Iran, Japan, Lebanon at Vietnam.

Kabilang din sa torneo ang Qatar, Kazakhstan, Oman, Hong Kong at Turkmenistan na nasa group C at group D naman ang United Arab Emirates, India, Papua New Guinea at Chinese Taipei.
