Palami nag-sorry kay Ramos

MANILA, Philippines - Humingi ng paumanhin si Azkals team manager Dan Palami kay Cristy Ramos sa inasta ng kanyang dalawang Fil-Foreign players bago idinaos ang laban sa pagitan ng pambansang koponan at Malaysia Tigers noong nakaraang Mi­yerkules.

Sa opisyal na statement ni Palami, sinabi rin niya na walang puwang sa koponan ang mga bastos na manlalaro at tiniyak na gagawa rin siya ng imbestigasyon upang malaman ang tunay na nangyari.

“I also believe that sexual harassment should not be tolerated in any situation. I will look into the circumstances of this alleged incident and cooperate with any investigation. If it is proven that there was in fact malicious intent, I will make sure that proper sanctions are meted out.

 “On behalf of the team, I sincerely apologize to Commissioner Ramos for the distress this situation has caused her,” wika ni Palami.

Pinasalamatan naman ni Ramos, dating POC pre­sident at ngayon ay opis­yales ng Asian Football Confederation (AFC) at FIFA, ang aksyon na ito ni Palami pero public apology mula sa dalawang manlalaro ang nais niyang marinig bukod sa ipapataw na kaparusahan.

Sina Lexton Moy at Juan Luis Angel Guirado ang mga inireklamo ni Ramos sa AFC ng sexual harassment matapos isa­gawa ang inspeksyon sa locker room ng Azkals bago ang friendly game.
