Manny 'di pa puwedeng makipag-spar; Bob Arum dumating na sa Pilipinas

MANILA, Philippines - Dahil sa posibilidad na bu­muka ang kanyang sugat sa kanang kilay, hindi pa pu­wedeng makipag-spar si Manny Pacquiao hanggang Abril.

Ito ang sinabi ni Dr. Jeffrey Roth, ang Las Vegas plastic surgeon na tumahi sa su­gat ni Pacquiao matapos ang kanilang ikatlong laban ni Juan Manuel Marquez no­­ong Nobyembre 12.

Kinailangan ng 28 tahi pa­ra maisara ni Roth ang su­gat sa kanang kilay ni Pac­quiao.

Samantala, dumating ka­hapon sa Pilipinas si Bob Arum ng Top Rank Promotions para kausapin ang Filipino eight-division champion kaugnay sa gusto nitong ma­kalaban sa Hunyo.

Sina Mexican Juan Ma­nuel Marquez, Puerto Rican Mi­guel Cotto at Americans La­mont Peterson at Timothy Bradley, Jr. ang mga maaa­ring pagpilian ni Pacquiao.

Tangan ng Filipino eight-division champion ang 53-3-2 win-loss-draw ring record ka­sama ang 38 KOs kum­pa­ra kina Marquez (53-6-1, 39 KOs), Peterson (30-1-1, 15 KOs), Cotto (37-2-0, 30 KOs) at Bradley (28-0-0, 12 KOs).

 "It could possibly happen and I certainly believe that it will happen this year," sa­bi ni Arum sa nasabing Pac­quiao-Mayweather fight.

Kung lalaban si Pacquiao sa Hunyo, sasagupa na­man si Mayweather sa Ma­yo.

"Now it may very well be that Mayweather's plans will be to take a fight against somebody else on May 5, and then serve his time in prison and then be ready to fight Manny in November. In which case, Manny would fight somebody probably in June and then be ready to fight Mayweather in November," ani Arum.
