Garcia motambong opening sa CESAFI volleyball event

CEBU, Philippines - Sa labing unang higayon, si Govenor Gwendolyn ‘Gwen’ Garcia motambong sa opening ceremonies sa Cebu Schools Athletic Foundation Inc. (CESAFI) volleyball tournament karong Sabado diha sa Aznar Coliseum.

Matud ni CESAFI commissioner Felix O. Tiukinhoy Jr. nga ilang gidapit si Garcia aron motambong sa kalihukan.

“For the first time, the opening of the CESAFI volleyball competition will be graced by the governor’s presence, which clearly shows her all-out support to the league. We’re privileged and honored to have her (Garcia) with us,” matud pa ni Tiukinhoy.

Dugang pa ni Tiukinhoy nga ang CESAFI commissioners ug members gidapit sab ni Gov. Garcia sa opening sa 6th Governor Gwen Garcia Unity Volleyball (GUV) Cup for men and women karong Septiyembre 25 diha sa Mandaue City Sports and Cultural Complex.

Matud ni Tiukinhoy nga ang CESAFI players makaduwa sa GUV Cup tungod kay wala nay problema kun ang iskedyul sa events ang hisgutan kay ang CESAFI mahuman na sa dili pa sugdan ang GUV Cup.

Karong Sabado sa buntag, ang University of San Jose-Recoletos (USJ-R) mosugod sa ilang title defense batok sa University of Cebu (UC), ang Cebu Doctors’ University (CDU) makigsangka batok sa University of San Carlos (USC), samtang ang University of the Visayas (UV) moharong sa Cebu Institute of Technology-University (CIT-U).

Inig ka hapon, ang women’s defending champion Southwestern University (SWU) makigbugno sa UV. Sa dili pa ang ilang duwa, ang University of Southern Philippines Foundation (USPF) makigbatok sa CDU, samtang ang USJ-R makiggubat sa UC sa main match. – BANAT NEWS
