“Nothing is safe with me,” wika ni Cone. “I’ve lost in a series even when leading 2-0 or 3-1. Even on my tennis game, I was so good on leading a game, but was having a hard time closing out the match.”
“In Talk N Text’s last series against Ginebra, Talk ‘N Text was up, 2-0, and lost the series,” sabi ni Cone. “We’ll have to come out Sunday (Game 3) with a firm understanding that it will be really hard to beat Ginebra.”
“There’s no excuse for us. We have to fight,” ani Uichico. “If we lose at least we lose fighting and if we win, we won because we fought for it.”
“We have to win three more games. We just cut the series into a best-of-five. There’s nothing special with this win,” sabi ni mentor Ryan Gregorio sa kanyang Giants. (Russell Cadayona)
