QC, Laguna tankers namayagpag

Gumawa ng malalaking alon ang Quezon City sa pool gayundin ang Laguna upang ipagpatuloy ang kanilang pananalasa sa  2nd Philippine Olympic Festival national championships kahapon sa Trace Aquatics Center.

Komopo si Louise Sarmiento ng apat na golds para sa Quezon City matapos dominahin ang 50-meter freestyle, 100m free, 100m backstroke at 200m individual medley sa girls’ 17 years and over age bracket.

Nagdagdag naman si Jose Gio Palencia ng dalawa pang golds mula sa 50m free at 100m free ng boys’ 12 and under habang may tig-isa namang ginto sina Jasmine Vero Ong (200m IM girls’ 13), Maria Infantado (200m butterfly girls 17 and over) at Kezia Sarmiento (100m back ng 12-year-old girls).

Tumulong din ang boys’ 15-16 200m freestyle relay team nina Jake Aaron Chua Yap, Mark Anthony Castro, Karl Ivan Marcelo at Timothy Yap sa kabuuang 18 golds, 14 silvers at pitong-bronzes ng Quezon City bets.

Nagpasiklab din angLaguna tanker na si Ana Nicole Tan na may 4-golds mula sa 100m freestyle, 200m IM,100m back ng girls’ 11-12 years old at sa 200m free relay.

Nag-ambag din para sa Laguna sina Joshua Desamero (boys’ 14 100m back), Banjo Borja (boys’ 15 100m back), Samuel John Alcos (boys 17 400m IM), Marvie Borja (girls’ 17 400m IM) at ang  boys’ 13-14 200m freestlye relay team .

Ang Laguna, kampeon sa Bicol Southern Luzon qualifying games, ay mayroon nang 14-16-10 gold-silver-bronze upang agawin ang ikalawang puwesto sa Lipa City (10-9-7) na nalaglag sa third.
