Sa pagkawala nina LA Tenorio at Joseph Yeo, ang mga bagito at beteranong players ang siyang aasahan ng Harbour Centre para sa nalalapit na 2006 PBL Silver Cup sa Nobyembre 11 sa San Juan Arena.
"Before we have Mac (Cardona) and then came LA (Tenorio) and Joseph (Yeo) and now we have a mixture of young and veteran players who are stunningly in top playing condition right now," sabi ni team owner Mikee Romero sa kanyang mga Port Masters.
Nakuha ng San Miguel Beermen ang 5-foot-8 na si Tenorio, samantalang napasakamay naman ng Coca-Cola Tigers si Yeo.
Ang pagkawala nina Tenorio at Yeo, naging sandata ng Harbour Centre sa pagkopo sa nakaraang 2006 PBL Unity Cup kontra Toyota Otis-Letran, ang siya namang pupunan nina Edwin Asoro at Jonathan Fernandez, kapwa top scorer ng National University Bulldogs sa nakaraang 69th UAAP season.
Maliban kina Asoro at Fernandez, nahugot rin ng Port Masters sina ex-pro Jenkins Mesina, Ryan Araña, Chico Lanete, Jerwin Gaco, Chad Alonzo at NU Bulldog power forward Joseph Lingao-Lingao.
Samantala, dalawang dating Growling Tigers naman ang nakuha ng baguhang Kernel Korn-UST ni coach Pido Jarencio.
Ito ay sina 64 forward Warren De Guzman at 60 Derrick Hubalde, anak ng dating PBA superstar na si Freddie Hubalde.
Ipaparada rin ng RFM franchise sina Growling Tigers Jojo Duncil, Jerby Cruz, Japs Cuan, Allan Evangelista, Anthony Espiritu, Dylan Ababou, Jun Cortez, Badong Canlas, Francis Allera at Chester Taylor. (Russell Cadayona)
