Ayon kay National Training Pool head coach Chot Reyes, ito na ang siyang pinakamabilis na paraan upang alisin ng FIBA ang suspensyon sa Pilipinas."I think the quickest way is for Mr. Lina to sign," wika ni Reyes.
"All we need is one signature and everyone is going to benefit from it."
Matatandaang nakipagpulong ang mga basketball stakeholders kay FIBA secretary-general Patrick Baumann para ilahad ang layunin nilang ipalit ang Pilipinas Basketball sa sinibak nang BAP ni Lina.
Sinabi ni Baumann na ang pirma ni Lina ang pinakamabilis na paraan para alisin ng international cage body ang suspensyon sa Pilipinas.
"The problem is if for example the BAP is suddenly reinstated and used the BAP name. Maybe the suspension can be lifted but the problem will remain. The UAAP will stil not be with them, the NCAA will still not be with them, the PBL will not still be with them. So it’s the same thing," ani Reyes.
Ang PBL, UAAP at NCAA kasama ang PBA ang siyang bumubuo sa mga pangunahing basketball stakeholders na nagsusulong sa PIlipinas Basketball.
