Cheer-dance competition tampok sa 15th SCUAA-NCR

Isang Cheer-dance competition tampok ang 180 cheer leaders at dancers ang magsisilbing isa sa highlight ng 15th State Colleges and Universities Athletic Association-National Capital Region (SCUAA-NCR) na magbubukas sa Pebrero 24.

Ayon kay organizing committee chairman Dr. Maura Bautista, presidente ng host Eulogio Amang Rodriguez Institute of Science and Technology (EARIST) na ang cheer-dance competition ang inaasahang magbibigay kulay sa isang linggong event na lalahukan ng tinatayang isang libong atleta mula sa anim na NCR-based state-run colleges para sa siyam na sport event.

Sinabi naman ni organizing committee co-chairman Dr. Diosdado Amante na ang bawat member schools ay maglalahok ng isang cheer dance team na binubuo ng 30 cheer leaders at cheer dancers.

Bukod sa EARIST, ang iba pang member schools ay ang Philippine Normal University, Polytechnic University of the Philippines, Technological University of the Philippines, Rizal Technological University at Philippine State College of Aeronautics.

Magkakaroon ng kompetisyon sa basketball, volleyball, athletics, swimming, table tennis, badminton at chess para sa men at women’s division at karagdagang sepak takraw at arnis sa kalalakihan.

Ang athletics at swimming events ay paglalabanan sa Rizal Memorial Sports Complex at ang ibang events ay gaganapin sa Earist campus.
