Bagamat hindi inaasahan na makapagbigay ng ginto ang cycling sa 14th Asian Games ipagpapatuloy pa rin ng Airfreight 2100-Federal Express ang kanilang pagsuporta sa RP cyclists na nakipaglaban sa Busan, South Korea.

"Our riders have not figured in the medal race, but in time we know that we will be able to compete gamely against the best of Asia, if not the rest of the world," ani Airfreight 2100, Inc. chairman Bert Lina.

Nagbigay ang Airfreight 2100 Inc., licensee ng Federal Express sa bansa, ng mga cycling apparel at $500 sa mga National riders bago tumulak ng Busan ang mga siklista.

Binuhay ni Lina, ang bagong ‘godfather’ ng Philippine Cycling, ang Tour na tatlong taong di nasilayan.

Mula sa 4-araw na Tour de Calabarzon, magkakaroon ngayon ng 14-araw na Air 21 Express Tour ng Pilipinas sa Abril sa susunod na taon.

Magkakaroon ng qualifying races simula sa November 10 upang piliin ang 84 riders.

Ang application forms ay makukuha sa Professional Cycling Association of the Philippines office sa Amoranto Stadium sa Quezon City.

Ang huling araw ng registration ay sa October 31.
