The top-notch, five-star hotel in the Crown Jewel of Mindanao, Marco Polo Davao, recently opened the Kadayawan season through the 4th Fashion and Fusion event that celebrated culture, arts and culinary highlights that embraced local talents and flavors.

Led by hotel general manager Dottie Würgler-Cronin and director of sales and marketing Pearl Peralta-Maclang, the event featured Davao-grown brand NIñOFRANCO by Wilson Limon and the local products of the Food Processors Association of Davao City. NIñOFRANCO’s collection showcased contemporary ethnocentric and one-of-a-kind pieces made collaboratively from Mindanaoan tribes — Bagobo Tagawa, Blaan, Tagakaolo and T’boli.
“Supporting local products means supporting local enterprises,” Würgler-Cronin said. “This is an opportunity for Davao-made products to be highlighted and noticed by potential buyers.”

Marco Polo Davao continues to support the worthwhile advocacy of the Philippine Eagle Foundation as all proceeds of the auction done during the event will be given to the foundation.
