The Visit the Philippines Year 2015 (VPY2015) campaign of the Tourism Promotions Board (TPB) aims to promote the country as a top tourist destination. To further strengthen this campaign, TPB and Globe Telecom offer tourists and balikbayans the Globe Traveler SIM for free!

The successful Madrid Fusión Manila (MFM) will return next year with the support of the Department of Tourism (DOT) and the Tourism Promotions Board (TPB). It is set from April 7 to 9, 2016 and is expected to draw Michelin-starred chefs from all over the world including both three-Michelin-starred Spanish chefs Joan Roca of El Celler de Can Roca in Spain and Eneko Atxa of Azurmendi and two-Michelin-starred chef Yoshihiro Narisawa of Les Créations de Narisawa in Japan. The contract signing for MFM 2016 was held at Fairmont Makati Hotel.
Tourism Secretary Ramon Jimenez Jr. said, “We are excited to host the second edition of Madrid Fusión Manila, which brings international culinary experts from the East and West and provides our local chefs a significant platform to perform for the international audience. This is not an accidental occurrence, but the continuation of an activity that will put Manila to its rightful place as one of the centers of culinary excellence in the world.”
Secretary Jimenez also awarded plaques of appreciation to the sponsors, industry partners and local chefs who contributed to the success of the first MFM, including chefs Margarita Fores, Myrna Segismundo, Claude Tayag, J.
