A feast before goodbye

Tin Hau’s signature Two-Way Chicken.

MANILA, Philippines - Following its announcement of closure later this year, Mandarin Oriental, Manila is running a series of dining promotions dubbed “MeMOries: Best of the Best” at two of its illustrious restaurants. The promotion marks the grand finale of each restaurant and will feature the best specialties and signature dishes as prepared by the master chefs.

Ongoing until July 13 (the day Tin Hau finally closes its doors) is “MeMOries: Best of the Best of Tin Hau” featuring authentic gourmet Chinese dishes prepared by executive Chinese chef Hann Furn Chen.

Meanwhile, former executive chef Norbert Gandler of The Tivoli, the hotel’s signature fine dining European restaurant, will recreate some of the restaurant’s best-loved dishes and timeless favorites at a one-night only dinner fete on July 11. This will kick-start the two-week “MeMOries: Best of the Best of The Tivoli” promotion, which begins July 16.

We shall definitely miss these two dining landmarks and the graciousness of Mandarin Oriental, Manila general manager Torsten van Dullemen and communications director Charisse Chuidian.
