A new shapewear in town

MANILA, Philippines - The secret is out! US premium shapewear brand Wink has finally arrived in Manila! This apparently in-demand product that my female friends love was brought in by my enterprising niece and very first godchild (of the 18 I have) Timmie Hilado. Timmie is the marketing and sales director of Urban Essentials.

The market is flooded by shapewear products that promise to slim you down a couple of dress sizes. Few are better than others while some either don’t last long or simply don’t work at all and nearly all of them are uncomfortable to wear.
