The speed of time

The Italian-inspired Veloci watch collection was launched recently at the Imperial Bar at The Fort. A fashion show was held with Andre Paras of the UP Fighting Maroons, Kobe Paras of La Salle Greenhills basketball team, actress/model Dawn Jimenez, Frank Magalona, De La Salle Lady Spiker Melissa Gohing and Ateneo Blue Shuttlers Badminton Team’s Patrick Natividad walking down the runway.

The Veloci timepiece has a clear approach: it has an iconic design with a price tag that’s easy on the wallet. Its brand name is deeply rooted in its meaning in the Italian language — “speed.” The brand is reminiscent of the lifestyle it embodies: fast-paced and adventurous yet with a young and stylish look.

The brand has three trendy collections that can also be flexible accessories with each timepiece complemented with three watchstraps of different colors and patterns.

The Veloci Cruise collection comes in a palette of colors from cool pastel pink to lemon yellow and subdued hues of gray and classic white to the more adventurous bright red, purple and blue. Each watch in the collection is 38 mm in size.

The Voyager collection is inspired by the depths of the sea. It showcases a more outdoor-driven trend for the active lifestyle. Voyager may be recognized as the masculine counterpart of Cruise’s feminine and relaxed side, which features a rotating bezel and comes in a regular 40-mm size. The bigger and more modern watch is 44 mm in size.

The abovementioned collections showcase stainless steel watchcases, high-grade Japanese movements and equipped with high-quality nylon NATO straps, known for toughness and its use in military operations due to its dependability and comfort.

Included in the newest collection of Veloci is a premium timepiece called Aeronaute. Created by the Veloci team composed of aviation enthusiasts and watch manufacturers, this watch design resonates in subtle dark colors. Aeronaute also carries a few lighter shades (a subdued yellow and white) but the darker and more sophisticated colors take center stage.

Spotted wearing Veloci watches that night were event host Joyce Pring, Ryan Arana, Valerie Weigmann, Catriona Gray, Wendy Valdez, Helga Krapf, Aliya Parcs, Maki Ricafort, Roxanne Barcelo, Will Devaughn, Issa Litton, Rima Ostwani, Say Alonzo, Saab Magalona, Hideo Muraoka and Fatima Rabago.
