Palladium recently celebrated the first anniversary of Pearl Night, an exclusive event that is famous for bringing in the hottest female DJs, known as DJanes, from all over the world. Its anniversary celebration proved to be no exception. DJane Ngelik, top female DJ from Venezuela, opened the set with her unique musical style. She had a back-to-back performance with Asia’s sexiest lady DJ, DJane Angie Vuha, who wowed the crowd with her talent and charm.
Both DJanes have played in the biggest clubs in Europe and Asia and they sure know how to rock the house with their distinctive style and showmanship, playing the latest hits from the hottest party capitals of the world. Truly, another certified success for Palladium!
Watch out for the next series of Pearl Nights next Saturday, Nov. 17, featuring Russian/Ukrainian model DJane Teri.

When two Galaxies collide
Hundreds of guests were impressed with the latest product revelations of Samsung Electronics Philippines Corp. at the Grand Ballroom of Marriott Hotel Manila. Excitement built up when guests were treated to a four-course dinner as they enjoyed classic renditions of famous pop and rock songs from the Manila Philharmonic Orchestra.
After dinner, the official program began with two presentations to reveal the Samsung Galaxy Note II and the Samsung Galaxy Camera. Product marketing head of Samsung Mobile Philippines Coco Domingo, together with product managers Mylene Gabriel and Ien Rivera, did live demonstrations of the products.
Mylene boasted of the new Galaxy Camera’s unparalleled connectivity and that the camera is uniquely 3G/4G enabled, has full Internet browsing support and access to over 600,000 apps, all running on the latest Android 4.1 Jellybean operating system.
Guests were impressed by the multi-tasking feature of the Galaxy Note II, which was demonstrated to allow users to have their YouTube and Facebook windows open simultaneously. Also memorable was the Pop-Up note feature, which enables users to open up an S Note anywhere on the screen, anytime. Now, taking notes with the S Pen while on a phone call is possible!
Beauty queens Venus Raj and Shamcey Supsup were invited on stage to demonstrate the Samsung Galaxy Note II’s unique “Best Face” feature. Coco asked them to pose and the two were photographed several times on stage. They discovered that they were able to choose their most preferred photos among the group shots right after. Shamcey even pretended to run away with the camera.
The Opera Belles sang their version of Laser Light and closed their performance by directing the attention of the audience to the Samsung product display. Guests were then invited to tinker with the products in order to experience the brilliance of Galaxy Note II and of the Galaxy Camera.
