Everything’s coming up roses for popular scent maker Joel Cruz. The president and CEO of Aficionado Germany Perfume was visibly proud of the two big simultaneous events that marked the 11th anniversary celebration of his manufacturing company Central Affirmative Company Inc. — the blessing of the newly renovated 2,000-sq.-m. plant and warehouse located at the Sterling Industrial Park in Meycauayan, Bulacan and the groundbreaking rites for a proposed bigger manufacturing facility to be built on an almost one-hectare lot in a nearby location.
Prominent guests at the celebration included Indonesian Ambassador Yohanes Kristiarto Legowo, Cambodian Ambassador Hos Sereythonh, Bruneian Ambassador Malai Hajah Halimah Malai Haji Yussof, Laos third secretary Vilayvanh Xaysomvang and Meycauayan, Bulacan vice mayor Rafael Manzano Jr.
Known as the “Lord of Scents,” Joel disclosed plans of expanding his business (currently with 441 stores across the country) to other parts of Asia. Congratulations, Joel! You really got it made!
