The recent 40th turnover ceremonies of the Philippine College of Rotary Governors (PCRG) at the Hotel InterContinental Manila proved to be very momentous. It was a “double” induction, so to speak, of the incoming board of PCRG directors and the Philippine Rotary Magazine Foundation (PRMF) trustees. Originally an association formed to promote camaraderie and maintain the interest in Rotary affairs alive among past district governors, the PCRG now counts present and incoming district governors among its members. The new PCRG chairman is Rafael “Butch” Francisco while outgoing PCRG chair James Dee now sits at the helm of the PRMF, which publishes the Philippine Rotary Magazine, the official publication for local Rotarians. Members of the PCRG board include Ding San Diego, Dulce Coyukiat, Jess Nicdao, Mac Hermoso, Lyne Abanilla, Chit Lijauco, Emma Nava, Ted Locson and Jimmy Semana. PDP-Laban president, lawyer Aquilino “Koko” Pimentel III, was the guest of honor and speaker during the fellowship dinner.
Congratulations to the new board!
