A new oasis for Makati yuppies

As they say, the best way to avoid traffic in the city is to live and work in the same city. That is exactly what Vista Residences had in mind when it embarked on Salcedo Square — a P1.5-billion residential development project right at the heart of the premier financial district of Makati. The 30-story high condominium is cut into studio and one-bedroom units — just the right amount of space for Makati’s denizens. VIP guests — including Sen. Manny Villar and his wife former Rep. Cynthia Villar as well as Vista Residences COO for the vertical team Maribeth Tolentino — saw a first glimpse of the scale model at its grand launch party at the RCBC Tower.

With a swimming pool, WiFi lounge, social hall, game room, fitness gym and a sunken deck for dining al fresco — the property is truly a piece of paradise to go home to.

An Italian night for a sporty bunch

To foster good camaraderie among its members, the tennis group of the Nomads Sports Club led by the gracious Kishore and Lorie Hemlani recently had a get-together at Caruso, the authentic Italian restaurant in Makati. Genial Caruso co-owner Dario Gardini warmly welcomed the members of the sports-loving group and treated them to a delightful evening of authentic Italian cuisine, exquisite ambiance and superb Italian opera music. Cheers to Caruso for another exceptional dinner!
