MANILA, Philippines - After eight years in Seattle, Bea Zozobrado, the only daughter of PR consultant Bob Zozobrado, finally visited the Philippines again. A toxicology officer at Amgen, Bea was accompanied by her Irish boyfriend Garry Jordan, who is the global operations manager at Microsoft.
The visitors spent a week in Boracay to be sure that golden tan was with them upon their return to cold and often raining Seattle. Bea’s relatives and friends also took them around the night spots of Manila, which were all new to her since there have been several malls and buildings erected since she was last in the country!
Doting father Bob hosted a despedida lunch for the visiting couple at the Manila Polo Club. Present were Bea’s favorite cousins and Bob’s close friends, most of whom witnessed Bea grow up to the wonderful woman she is now.
