A divine celebration

It was as if the ancient gods and goddesses recently came down from the heavens to the plush NBC Tent at the Fort in Taguig for an evening of elegance and festivity to celebrate the birthday of the affable Guatemala Consul and Consular Corps of the Philippines dean Mellie Ablaza. With her endearing husband Zambia Consul Louie Ablaza and loving children Czarina, Vice Consul Marc Thomas and Jun Jun, who squeezed and poured his creative juices to create the awe-inspiring gods and goddesses ball this year, Mellie glowed like a goddess that night. Guests thoroughly enjoyed the entire evening highlighted by endless merriment, entertainment and warm camaraderie. Aside from celebrating the birthday of Consul Mellie Ablaza, it was also the thanksgiving party for the family’s friends and colleagues who showered them with love and support during the entire year. An array of delectable dishes prepared by chef Jessie Sincioco made the guests feel like one of the ancient deities.
