It was one superb bash as the dashing lawyer Frank Chavez, who holds the title “Tribune of the People,” recently celebrated his birthday in style. Family and close friends from the Gun and Rotary clubs, together with their lovely spouses, all came to Frank’s exquisitely appointed Alabang mansion which was brilliantly furnished with stately furniture and elegant paintings. Guests had the time of their lives while they feasted on the most delectable cuisine and vintage wines as they wished the man of the hour more fruitful years ahead. Truly, the celebration was one splendid affair filled with cheers and memories.
Many more birthdays, dear Frank!
A delightful double celebration
Savoring the blissful years of their blessed union while embracing the start of new beginnings, the dynamic duo of passion and compassion Butch Albert, president of the charitable organization Operation Compassion, and wife Cris, president of the popular lifestyle brand FILA, recently celebrated two special events in their lives — their wedding anniversary and Cris’ despedida party at the Shang Palace of the Makati Shangri-La Hotel. Truly an intimate affair, family and close friends feasted on a delectable Chinese fare as they toasted to the years of happiness the couple has shared. It was a bittersweet occasion as guests also bid farewell and gave their best wishes to the lovely Cris, who is set to leave for the United States to pursue her Owners Presidents Management course in the prestigious Harvard University. Congratulations and bon voyage!
Three times the fun!
In the spirit of camaraderie, three groups of friends recently came together for a festive lunch at the lovely home of Minerva Tanseco. All fired up
The strong winds made the golf course at Tagaytay Midlands a grueling test of skill and stamina for the participants of the 6th leg of the Mizuno Scramble Golf Classic but still a few pairings were able to make it with impressive victories. Marty Ilagan and Lito Abiera took the top spot by posting a 7 under par round of 65 in the 1st Division. Led by Master Sports Corp. president Lovell Gopez and GM Paolo Cagalingan, both the 6th leg and 7th leg were a testament to Mizuno’s continuing strength in the field of golf. Meanwhile, it was a cold and damp day during the 7th leg of the Mizuno Scramble Golf Classic in Riviera Golf and Country Club but that did not stop the participants from heating up the greens in what was arguably the most tightly contested leg of the Mizuno Scramble. The father-and-daughter tandem of Rene and Andie Unson narrowly walked away with the Division 1 crown by posting a 9 under par round of 63. Congratulations!
