Eight of the world’s top luxury watches simultaneously unveiled their brand boutiques at Greenbelt 5 Mall in Makati City.
The event dubbed Treasures: The Art of Time gathered watch enthusiasts and collectors alike who were all eager to check out the elegant boutiques of Swiss luxury watch brands Audemars Piguet, Breitling, Chopard, IWC Schaffhausen, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Omega, Panerai and Patek Philippe.
Treasures GM Emerson Yao said: “This is definitely an affair to remember for watch collectors and lovers who have been waiting for these luxury watch brands to open their stand-alone boutiques here in the country. Now, customers can enjoy the level of expertise a one-brand-boutique can provide, giving them a more personalized experience to know about the brands and their collections.”
Also present to welcome guests was Lucerne Jewellers managing director Ivan Yao. The regional brand principals for the eight brands who flew in to Manila to formally open their brand boutiques were Audemars Piguet Hong Kong brand manager Bobby Chang, Breitling Asia-Pacific GM Mike Neo, Chopard (Asia) Pte. Ltd. managing director Maxime Labey, IWC Schaffhausen Branch of Richemont Int. SA administrative board member and spokesperson Hannes Pantli, Jaeger-LeCoultre Asia Pacific managing director Daniel Rogger, Omega regional sales director Oliver Hugentobler, Panerai Richemont Asian Pacific Ltd. managing director Jean-Sebastien Gerondeau and Geneva Master Time (distributor of Patek Philippe in Southeast Asia) director Dirk Paulsen.
After formally opening their brand boutiques, the brand principals gladly welcomed guests who came to check out (and buy) the latest collections as well as learn more about the designs and technologies behind these luxury timepieces.
Guests were then ushered to Greenbelt 5’s Fashion Walk to admire select pieces from the luxury watch brands presented by some of the country’s top models. Ballerinas of Ballet Philippines and Steps Dance Project rendered a dance to the delight of the crowd.
Making the celebration even more memorable was a raffle where eight lucky guests went home with special items from each of the watch brands.
