Terrific at two
Beverly Hills 6750 Multi-Specialty Aesthetic Institute just turned terrific two with an anniversary bash that sent its loyal clients and friends in a happy frenzy. Highlighted by an exclusive luncheon at its headquarters at 6750 Ayala Avenue, Makati, the aesthetic institute gave the term “beauty day” a fun twist when it treated its friends to a dazzling array of 80 benchmark services given free to early birds!
So just imagine the buzz that went around when people found out that services such as Botox, E-Max Skin Tightening, Intense Pulse Light, diamond peel, facial hydroxygen rejuvenation, Accent for Body Contouring, Comet Hair Removal, intravenous glutathione, teeth whitening and oral examination/prophylaxis would be up for grabs for the early birds.
True enough, as early as 5 a.m., the five slots for Thermage skin tightening treatment packages, valued at P90,000 each, had been grabbed already. Now, who would not line up for such a prize?
In line with the celebration, Beverly Hills 6750’s 220 chosen few were treated to Gaita Fores’ Cibo di M. The exclusive guests also had no less than an overflow of Moet et Chandon, Belvedere Vodka and Hennessey Cognac.
BH 6750 also raffled off prizes from Smart Infinity’s top-of-the-line Samsung Omnia, Michael Kors, Gucci, Roberto Cavalli, WatchPod and Hahn Binoculars.
There were also VIP bags filled with gifts from the Chocolate Clothing Company, Gucci, ETC, Club Ascend, Leonidas Chocolate, Shu Uemura, Eu Thermale Avene, Pacific Heights, the Philippine Tatler and an exclusive BH 6750 Gynesthetics special treat.
Beverly Hills 6750 has always prided itself in never cutting corners in terms of client care and satisfaction. On its second year, the pursuit for excellence in the beauty business does not falter a bit, but certainly continues to reach higher heights.
Welcoming Peninsula’s first Filipino GM
The Conservatory was the venue for former Peninsula Manila GM David Batchelor to introduce the guests to his successor Vlad Reyes, the first Filipino to become GM of the Peninsula Manila. It was also a farewell party for David, who worked as the GM for the Pen for about three years.
Over 120 guests bid goodbye to David and said hello to Vlad as they were entertained by a quartet from the Manila Philharmonic Orchestra. The evening’s menu consisted of salmon, wagyu beef and US Angus prime rib. Guests also enjoyed a cheese station, a cold station that included bresaola ravioli, foie gras terrine and sashimi, a hot station that featured dim sum, mini calzones and seafood brochettes, and of course, a dessert station.
The Peninsula Manila was the first Peninsula to be built outside Hong Kong. Other hotels are located in Chicago, New York, Tokyo, Bangkok, Beverly Hills, Beijing and soon Shanghai.
