The premier concert cum party venue of the south was awash with pomp and pageantry, from its table settings to the very sumptuous menu consisting of foie gras, carvings, gourmet canapés and heavenly desserts. Thanks to the Bellevue family – Johnny Chan with wife Debbie, GM Patrick Chan and marketing and communications director Ryan Chan, who pulled out all the stops to make this event possible and memorable.
My co-hosts also surprised your columnist that night. The alluring Tessa Prieto-Valdes did a belly dance while the debonair Anton San Diego serenaded the guests. Also entertaining the A-list crowd were stars such as Maui Taylor, Bituin Escalante, John Lesaca and Mishka Adams. Among the VIPs seen at the party were BMW Philippines president Dr. Joerg Breuer, Cathay Land’s Jeffrey Ng, Seawind’s Joebert Cocjin, Louie and Mellie Ablaza, Sonny and Helen Ong, Ronnie and Menchu Concepcion, OV and Marilen Espiritu and Philippine television’s Freddie Garcia with wife Gloria.
