44 brave men

Knowing and counting heroes in our land will make this country so indebted for their extreme sacrifices – from our great forefathers to all our men in uniform nowadays who continuously paid the ultimate sacrifices for the country.

So fast, and it’s been a year since a group of police troopers showed bravery and valor to the country and when their service ends so tragically after pursuing the  international terrorist Zulkifli Abdhir in Barangay Tukanalipao,Mamasapano, Maguindanao.

As the nation remembers the gallantry showed by the 44 brave men from SAF, PNP, I would like to extend my gratitude for their supreme sacrifices to the country and their families. Their stories might not be written in the books yet but for all of us who knew their stories, it was already in our hearts. What they are doing will never be forgotten in the eyes of God’s true children and us. Their patriotism will always be remembered.

As we pay respect to their sacrifices, may we never forget to include in our prayers the peace of heart to the families left by these fallen heroes and the safety of all our men in uniform who continuously safeguard the nation and providing not to mention the many freedoms that they make possible for us. – Chrisha Kaye, Talabon, Davao City
