The planting of landmines has already caused deaths and injuries.
They think that fewer tourists will visit Mindanao especially during the peak season.
It is clear as day that they do not want tourists and investors to come as this is a sign of progress.
They do not want progress because if the people are happy and content, they will not be lured by the NPAs to join them.
These recent attacks show they are cowards because they attack when nobody is around, they plant bombs to kill, and they continue to terrorize and violate the rights of others. What is the cause they are fighting for? Certainly not for peace or progress. — S. S. LLamares, Mactan, Cebu
