National Artist for Literature F. Sionil Jose recently turned over his immeasurably significant writings to the De la Salle University Library. Jose is the most widely translated, read and most awarded Filipino novelist. Novelist Miguel Lopez de Leon of Manila’s elite is the son of Jose Vicente and Marybeth de Leon (nee Lopez) and the nephew of DJ Lopez. Miguel’s grandmother is the English Wendy Barnes.
