Thoughts to guide us by (For July 2014)

Elvie Punzalan-Estavillo - The Philippine Star

Success is achieved by taking risks, oftentimes after a good number of trials and failures. For life is strewn with risks and difficulties: minor and major, miniscule and monumental. There are risks in our undertakings — at home, school, office, farm, investments, marriage, etc. Risks must not deter us from achieving the life we want and deserved. In pursuing our life’s most ardent wishes and cherished dreams. Fear of failure or losing must never hold us back in making bold decisions. To do nothing in the pursuit of our ideals and goals will only dull and deaden our spirits. . . and lead us nowhere. No pain, No gain!

Suffering and setbacks are life’s inevitables — to make us learn, change, grow, love, and live life fully and successfully. Despair not!  Quit not! “Success is failure turned upside out” — the silver lining behind the thick clouds of frustrations, setbacks, heartaches, even desperation. If we persevere hard and long, keep our faith … surely, the sweet, sweet scent of success can be savored and enjoyed by us.

Only by taking risks can we truly be free — free to choose the road to trudge, free to dare, free to win!

Peace and abundance to us all!
