The real challenge in life is the struggle between truth and lies, between good and bad, a tug-of-war between moral and immoral. And GREED is the ancestor of all these!
GREED creates discontent, envy, and insatiable desire to do whatever it takes to gain power and amass wealth. Unrestrained greed of titanic proportion such as what unfolds before us now is far greater than terrorism. It can spell disaster and sufferings to millions of people.
GREED creates the deceptive illusion of having more and more power, countless money that are even put in bath tubs, and best material things bring forth happiness!
But look around! How often do we see, hear, and read about super rich and powerful people living in emptiness in the midst of plenty, wallowing in self- pity amidst grandeur? Worse, suffer from sleepless nights … devoid of peace of mind!
Most people forget in the hustle-bustle of this ever increasing crass materialistic world that loving God and genuinely serving fellowmen are life’s greatest treasure!
That only from genuine spirituality and helping fellow pilgrims can spring real satisfaction, pure joy, calm, and stable peace of mind.
