Thoughts to guide us by

Elvie Punzalan-Estavillo - The Philippine Star

We are at the crossroad of our country’s history once again! In critical, trying times such as this, when we seek the truth — COURAGE alone stands between success and failure, between survival and collapse. God in His goodness provided us with courage to enable us to look on tempests and not be shaken. Dogged courage and faith build up spirit and confidence!!!

As we pray for daily sustenance, pray we must too for courage to:

• Seek and stand for what is true;

• Do what is BEST for our country and people;

• Rise above all considerations when national interests so demand;

• Liberate our people from the bondage of moral decadence and ineptitude;

• Lead by shining example to the hopes of our Motherland;

• Give meaning and justice for our being here on earth;

• Make ourselves instruments for better change, and

• Render genuine service to our fellowmen — it is the highest form of gratitude we can render to God and country.

Peace and abundance to us all!

 Seek and stand for what is true;

Do what is BEST for our country and people;

 Stand for our convictions for truth and greater good;

 Rise above all considerations when national interests

   so demand;

 Liberate our people from the bondage of moral decadence

   and ineptitude;

 Lead by shining example to the hopes of our Motherland ;

 Give meaning and justice for our being here on earth;

Make ourselves instruments for better change; and

 Render genuine service to our fellowmen -- it is the highest

    form of gratitude we can render to God and country.

            Peace and abundance to us all!
