Lagman has never been a member of opposition

Dear Mr. Isaac Belmonte: 

Anent our conversation earlier on June 28, may I earnestly reiterate that corrections be effected regarding the news article in re: “Noy swears in 4 more new senators,” written by Aurea Calica and Marvin Sy appearing on page 13 of your paper’s issue of 28 June 2013. 

It was incorrectly reported in the subject article’s last paragraph that, “The President also administered the oath of Albay Rep. Edcel Lagman Jr., formerly of the opposition.” Please state that the reporters committed an oversight by underscoring that I have always been a Liberal Party member and, consequently, has never been a member of the opposition.
