Thoughts to guide us by (For March 2012)

- Elvie Punzalan-Estavillo -

Every so often during the day things can go at breakneck speed. To get away and decompress from the extreme busyness of our schedule, we need a peaceful, quiet center in our minds. It will shield us too from the dizzying confusion swirling around the historic impeachment trial as we unceasingly quest for truth and justice — the hallmark and key to political stability, economic progress, and moral regeneration!

Practicing moments of absolute quiet, even briefly, when feeling swamped and harassed as we go through our daily grinds — is a great stress-buster. In quietness and confidence lie our strength!

Creative quietness can usher us to minute vacations — to reinvigorate and relax our bodies, calm our minds, soothe and heal our spirits. During moments of silence creative ideas blossom that can be fashioned to do good for others.

The relaxing, soothing inner peace of silence can be developed and optimally enjoyed — when we pray for God’s grace. Clear the mind, keep the body still, do nothing, do not talk as in deep meditation for a few moments. There is healing power in silence!!!

Peace and abundance to us all!
