Besana: Rabusa is a liar

I am retired auditor Arturo Besana whom Col. George Rabusa accused as having received P26.4 million in bribe money.

My inclusion by Col. George Rabusa in the list of 17 in the plunder case is the strongest argument that Rabusa is a liar. From now on Rabusa will have to prove his allegation.

To the one who alleges goes the burden and discomfort of proving. To the one who denies goes the pleasure and comfort of proving nothing.

It would be the height of stupidity bordering on insanity for one not to be able to produce evidence or receipt for a large sum of money that one alleges to have given to somebody.

Without that evidence or receipt, the one who accuses is the one who must have misappropriated the fund for himself.

And should that happen, I will require Col. Rabusa to account for what I did not receive plus the damage that he has brought to my family, my name, the hurt to my nine-year-old and 14-year-old daughters and my wife who will certainly be affected.

My God, Rabusa and his cohorts will find no corner in this earth where they can hide from the wrath of righteous response.

Rabusa said I received P26.4 million, if that were true I would be a rich man now. But look, as of now, I am a poor man. I have no house, no lot, no car, no van, not even a pedicab. I have not even fully paid my house rentals. I have not even enrolled my two kids in school, and I have not paid some honest debts. I even owe a catholic bishop, a childhood friend, P8,000. Now here is this mystic monk Rabusa, guarded by nuns.

Oh my God what will happen to this country. Rabusa reminds me of the Russian mad monk who endeared himself to the imperial family particularly Tsarina Alexandria and through the rasputinic intrigue that he spread about the royal family and the mundane pleasure that he brought with the Tsarina. The Russian empire suffered. Rasputin was himself assassinated by the Russian ultra conservatives.

If the handlers of Rabusa will not be very careful, they themselves might suffer his reckless imprudence. Rabusa is like a wild hunter holding a double barreled shotgun shooting at will hoping to hit as many birds as he can to please his handlers. Falsehood boomerangs, and if it does, it could be a political karma.
