Inadvertently overlooked

MANILA, Philippines - Thank you for featuring the launching of the “Kapit Bisig sa Ilog Pasig” project involving the ABS-CBN Foundation, Pasig River Rehabilitation Commission and the cities of Quezon City Makati City and Pasig City in your February 25, 2009 issue.

However, I would like to call your attention to two errors that were inadvertently overlooked. On the front page cover, the photo caption identified the people in the picture but the name of Pasig City Mayor Robert C. Eusebio was not included in the list. In the story on page 17, Metro Section, written by Mike Frialde, former Mayor Vicente P. Eusebio was erroneously referred to as the Mayor of Pasig City instead of the current Mayor Robert C. Eusebio.

With these two errors aside, I would like to commend your newspaper for increasing public awareness on important issues affecting our country and for mentioning Pasig City as an advocate of the need to protect our environment.   — MA.
