Give Gov. Panlilio the space to govern

Allow me to express my opinion regarding the issues affecting the province of Pampanga, particularly Gov. Ed Panlilio.

If there is one person Kapampangans should be thankful for the Lord, it is Governor Panlilio. For a long time, Pampanga has not had governance that is based on Christian principle, honesty, integrity, and credibility. He is a rare breed who personally feels that all authority emanates from God.

As a concerned Kapampangan and former mayor of Candaba, Pampanga, I know that Ed Panlilio was freely elected by the people. He did not buy votes because he had no money; he did not terrorize voters because he had neither guns nor goons.

I don’t favor the recall movement against Gov. Ed, whoever is behind this. Instead, we must give him the space to lead and govern. It is time to set aside politics and unite for the good of the province and the people. – Babes Evangelista, former mayor, Candaba Pampanga
