Baby badly needs liver transplant

-

God be with you. We are Life Thru Transplants-Biliary Atresia Babies Information, Education and Support Foundation Inc. (LIFT-BABIES) Foundation whose primary aim is to help families with babies and children suffering from rare pediatric liver diseases which require a liver transplant in order for the patient to survive and live a normal life.

We are writing on behalf of Josefina  and Artemio Nolasco residing at 04-E Mulawin St., Prk 3, Lower Bicutan, Taguig City, tel. no 8377866. They are the parents of Ariane Jane, born February 27, 2006 with Biliary Atresia, a condition where the liver does not have bile ducts. Because of this, Ariane Jane is badly in need of a liver transplant.

There is no established pediatric liver transplant program in the Philippines, though we understand that the Philippine General Hospital is in the process of putting up one.

A liver transplant, whether done locally or abroad, normally costs from P4 million to P5 million.

The foundation normally endorses Biliary Atresia babies for a liver transplant abroad, either at the Chang Gung Memorial Hospital in Kaohsiung, Taiwan or at Queen Mary Hospital in Hong Kong.

As Ariane Jane’s family cannot afford the transplant cost, they are now raising funds for her transplant.

Thus, we appeal to your sense of charity and compassion. Please help Ariane Jane. Any amount that you can donate to her transplant fund will go a long way into helping her have a chance to live.

Donations may be given to the Nolasco family at the above address or deposited at any Metrobank branch, Account Name Arline Nolasco, Account No. 334-231-3060.

You may also donate to Ariane Jane through the LIFT-BABIES Foundation, by depositing at any Equitable PCIB branch, Account Name LIFT-B.A.B.I.E.S. Foundation, Account No. 230-00198-7 (Please text us when the donation was deposited and how much.)

You may also call the foundation at tel. no. 8214621 or CP 0918-9263237 for information about Ariane Jane, biliary atresia or liver transplants.

We thank you in the name of the Nolasco family and may God bless you and your loved ones. — JESUS MATUBIS  JR., Founding Director
