Rising stars sa Spikers’ Turf nagpakitang-gilas

MANILA, Philippines — Naging matagumpay ang katatapos na 2024 season ng Spikers’ Turf kung saan nagpakitang-gi­las ang ilang players.

Ito ang pahayag ni Spi­kers’ Turf tournament director Mozzy Ravena sa mga rising stars na nag-iwan ng kanilang mga marka sa Open at Invitational Confe­rences.

Kung nagningning ang mga bituin nina Bryan Ba­gu­nas ng Cignal at Marck Espejo ng Criss Cross sa season-opening tournament ay umagaw naman ng eksena si Jude Garcia na hinirang na MVP sa Open Conference.

May kontribusyon naman sina Francis Saura at Rash Nursiddik ng D’Navigators, Peter Quiel ng PGJC-Navy at Cian Si­lang ng Cignal para sa ka­nilang mga koponan.

Bagama’t hindi naglaro sina Bagunas at Espejo sa Invitationals ay nagpasikat si Garcia sa torneo para angkinin ang ikalawang su­nod na MVP award.

Nagparamdam din ng ka­nilang puwersa sina Lo­uie Ramirez (Cignal), Gian Glo­rioso (Criss Cross), Sher­win Caritativo (Savo­uge), Giles Torres (Savo­uge), CJ Segui (VNS) at Dryx Saavedra (FEU-DN Steel).

Iginiya ni Ramirez ang HD Spikers sa pang-wa­long sunod na korona para hirangin bilang Finals MVP.

“Even if it’s a short one, I think it’s very successful ka­si marami na naman ta­­yong players na nakita like si Ramirez, MVP of the Finals, it’s just so much fun,” sabi ni Ravena.
