Offer services to poor, techvoc grads urged

Mayen Jaymalin - The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) has urged techvoc graduates to give free service to poor communities and encourage other youths to engage in fruitful activities.

“It is heartwarming to see techvoc graduates paying it forward by not only offering services through their skills, but also giving lessons on those interested in their trade secrets – all in the spirit of livelihood empowerment,” Techvoc director general Joel Villanueva said.

“Giving back the good that one has received will give chance to people to make it on their own and rise out of poverty,” Villanueva added.
