CCP endows scholarship grants to MMMP

MANILA, Philippines - The Central Colleges of the Philippines awards Scholarship Grants for AY 2014-2015, to endorsed students of the Missionaries of Mary Mother of the Poor (MMMP). Seven new scholars and three continuing scholars will receive a full-fledged privilege of free education from CCP at their own choice of a College program. MMMP is a Missionary community headed by Rev. Fr. Fernando Suarez.

Fr. Suarez was recently appointed as the Episcopal Vicar for Indigenous Peoples by SGD(+) Antonio Palang, SVD, DD. MMMP has been known to exert efforts to draw poor people closer to their faith. As such, underprivileged but deserving individuals are endorsed to benefactors who will provide them with free College education.

CCP has been fully supporting the advocacy of MMMP and has patronized the scholarship program by granting free education to MMMP Scholars. Betsy Tenchavez, a distinguished entrepreneur, has been one with CCP in the benefit program through the provision of fiscal support to the students.
