Be prepared to face challenges, Erap tells graduates

MANILA, Philippines - Manila Mayor Josep Estrada urged on Tuesday the new graduates of the Unibersidad de Manila to be prepared for the many challenges they will face after graduation.

In a speech delivered during the 16th commencement exercises at the Unibersidad de Manila, Estrada said “You must be prepared to meet life head on, because you will face many challenges that can spell both triumph and failure.”  

Estrada said life will be colorful and heavy for newly graduates.

“You will face a lot of new experience, challenges where you will also learn many. Learn to face the problems, difficulties and convenience in life. It will be part of your learning process in the comprehensive and complicated classroom of society,” Estrada said.
