TeaMEnergy implements education projects

SUAL, Pangasinan, Philippines -— TeaM Energy which owns and operates the Sual coal-fired power plant here and the Department of Education (DepEd) Division of Pangasinan sealed an agreement for the Adopt-A-School program by implementing a number of corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs in education and health to benefit schools in the province. These projects include the Lakbay Aral project which involves the conduct of lectures and plant tours among high school students; the Ecological Solid Waste Management program; the Safe Water for the Schools project which involves the installation and rehabilitation of water systems and hand washing facilities in selected public schools, and the Araw ng mga Sual Kids project that provides educational materials and special education classes in DepEd Sual.
