Malayan Colleges Laguna unveils new logo, moniker

MANILA, Philippines - Malayan Colleges Laguna (MCL) has unveiled its new school logo designed to convey and solidify its commitment to excellence and academic vigor. The new logo is “simple yet iconic,” containing only two elements to represent MCL’s core values of excellence and virtue: a shield and the single helix “M.” The coat of arms or the shield symbolizes MCL’s achievements, while the single helix “M” signifies excellence. The school colors have been slightly modified. The blue, symbolizing loyalty and intelligence, has taken on a darker and more serious tone, while the silver has been changed to a flat gray to show that MCL is keeping abreast of the new technologies. Patrick Jason Bayani, head of MCL’s Corporate Communications Office, said the main objective of recreating the logo is to make it more scholastic, more iconic, and contemporary. “MCL is growing and changing with the times.
