Trinity’s Buwan Ng Wika celebration

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Trinity University of Asia’s (TUA) Basic Education celebrated “Buwan ng Wika” with fun the whole month of August by holding short programs where trivia questions were asked from Mondays through Fridays during lunch break.

Rodelyn Toledo, head of the Filipino and English department, encouraged the grade school pupils and high school students to participate by preparing questions and providing prizes to those who will answer the questions correctly. Most of the questions asked were about Philippine History and Culture.

Other activities lined up for the month-long celebration were the “Pagbibigay-buhay sa Awit”, “Isahang Tinig”, “Dalawahang Tinig” and the “Balagtasan.”
