Language and culture competition set

MANILA, Philippines - The National Committee on Language and Translation (NCLT) of the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA), in collaboration with the UP Visayas Chancellor’s committee on culture and the arts (UPC VVA) and the UPV Sentro ng Wikang Filipino (UPV SWF) will conduct the National Competition on “Pasanyog Wika at Kulturang Filipino” which will culminate in UP Visayas Iloilo City in Oct. 2013.

The project aims to strengthen the Filipino language and culture through a series of competitions such as the “Paindis-indis Dokyu,” “Paindis-indis Maikling Pelikula,” “Laragway sa Tanaga-Tanaga sa Laragway” and “Pambansang Paindis-indis Talino sa Sagisag Kultura.” The competition will be participated in by students in the secondary level from different public and private schools in the country.
