Quiz show on nationwide tour

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines -Diwa Learning Systems announces that its high-tech traveling quiz show is back. The company releases the first wave of tour dates for Pasiklaban sa Paaralan, the only technology-integrated traveling quiz show in the country.  According to the organizers, the tour will kick-off in Imus, Cavite on August 16, at the Jesus Good Shepherd School. Every school year, Pasiklaban tours the country and gathers exceptional grade school and high school students from different schools to engage in a battle of intelligence. Pasiklaban features questions in Science, Math, Language, Literature, and General Information. It travels around the country on board a custom-built van equipped with laptops, which are used as playing consoles; a server that is the “brain” of the competition; a mobile sound system; and LCD projectors. The caravan heads on to Legaspi City on the 20th, then to Lucena City on the 23rd. Other areas to be visited are Mindoro on August 27;  Batangas City on August 29; Kalibo City on September 9; Roxas City on September 10; Iloilo City on September 11; Bacolod City on September 13; Dumaguete City on September 16; Tagbilaran City on September 18 and Cebu City on September 20 and 30. The competition will also make a stop in Metro Manila from September 3 to 6, where it will see action at Colegio de Sta. Rosa in Makati, Malate Catholic School in Manila and St. Paul University in Quezon City. Cluster winners will face off in Manila during the national finals in March 2014.
