Kidzania to build P1B edutainment center

Mike Frialde - The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines -Kidzania, one of the world’s fastest-growing edutainment company for children, will open a branch at the Bonifacio Global City in Taguig City in November next year. Kidzania Global chief operating officer Andres Fabre said the P1-billion and 6,000 square-meter interactive “kid-sized city” or role-playing center is expected to generate close to 500 jobs and attract 600,000 annual visitors. Fabre said Kidzania is a “hyper-real, role-play city” where kids from ages four to 14 can role-play jobs in over 100 role-playing activities in shops to be sponsored by real brands and in other areas built to simulate “real-life” places such as police stations, hospitals and even a fire station. According to Fabre, children inside Kidzania not only learn about various jobs, they also become aware of how a city is run and how to manage money. “Each experience is designed to empower kids, giving them the confidence to be their best selves and inspiration to be great global citizens,” said Fabre.
