P&G turns over computers to Dagupan schools

Eva Visperas - The Philippine Star

DAGUPAN CITY, Philippines — Procter and Gamble (P&G) Philippines donated desktop computers to several public elementary schools here in partnership with Vice Mayor Belen Fernandez. The recipient schools that got one desktop computer each last week from P&G as part of its e.Studyante program were West Central Elementary School, East Central Integrated School, Pantal Elementary School and Tambac Elementary School. Last year, P&G turned over 150 units of wi-fi ready XO educational laptop computers to Lucao Elementary School here also under its e.Studyante project. It was Fernandez, a mall owner here, who facilitated the donation as a vital partner of P&G in its e.Studyante project wherein patronage of this multinational company’s products would help go a long way for the implementation of this program. The e.Studyante project was envisioned to make public school children to be at pace with the technology wherein they can access their lessons and appreciate them better using child-friendly, internet-ready computers.
